Sunday Morning Yoga - Instructor Lisa Recchione, MA, eRYT200, KR1. This class is offered in a
moderately heated room using space heaters. Practicing in a heated environment allows the muscles to warm up and flexibility
to increase. It also intensifies the energy output of the practice. Because perspiration increases, cleansing
increases making this an excellent way to illuminate toxins. This is a flow style class. A flow class unites the
postures with the breath so that one pose or stretch leads to another in a sequence. This allows for movement between
and during postures. The breath is linked with the movement. Practicing in this way allows for energy flow to
move freely. In this class the basics of sun salutation and vinyasa will be explored. You will learn how to move
from pose to pose while maintaining alignment within the posture. Often the use of props is encouraged within the flow.
Each class will include breath work (pranayam), posture, core work, and stretching. Each class will end with guided
meditation and sometimes active meditation. Each class is themed often exploring the philosophical precepts of yoga
and how to incorporate the tools of yoga into your life. Easy/Moderate
